My practice offers comprehensive medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology with a focus on natural results and patient comfort. I provide individualized care for acne, rashes, hair loss, nail conditions, skin cancer screening, cosmetic procedures, and advanced laser treatments.
I currently see patients inside Martin Dermatology in Coral Gables, where I maintain my own independent practice in collaboration with my supervising physician. This allows me to offer high-quality care in a comfortable and convenient location.

Rene A. Valiente, MHS, PA-C is a nationally board certified Physician Associate specializing in medical, surgical, and aesthetic Dermatology. He has been practicing in South Florida since 2001 and brings over a decade of experience in Dermatology by diagnosing, managing, and treating a broad range of skin conditions.
Rene is skilled in the evaluation and treatment of common and complex dermatologic conditions; skilled at performing comprehensive full skin examinations for skin cancer screenings; managing chronic inflammatory diseases, and providing evidence-based medical therapies for patients twelve years and above.
In addition to medical dermatology, Rene has experience in aesthetic and cosmetic procedures, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, Micro needling, RF Micro needling, PRP for hair loss and skin rejuvenation, laser rejuvenation, and other non-surgical skin enhancement. His approach is centered on natural, balanced results that enhance each patient’s features without appearing overdone.
